Their staff will coordinate the installation, but we will be asking for some volunteers to help. It’ll be on our front yard. October 25: Pumpkin Sunday: At the 10 a.m. service, we will celebrate the ministry of the pumpkin patch. There will be a special pumpkin-themed coffee hour afterwards. November 1: All Saints’ Day Celebration at the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. services & Dedication of Parish Hall. This Sunday is one of the great feast days in the church year. All Saints Day is an opportunity for each of us to give thanks for all those in our own lives who have been witnesses to the Good News and to remember all those we love but see no longer. We will also welcome our youngest members into the church through the waters of baptism. Alan Segal and his Quintet will lead us in music on this special occasion. Immediately following the 10 a.m. service we will have a dedication ceremony of the newly renovated Parish Hall. Members of the Reeves family will be with us to celebrate and honor Eleanor Reeves in whose loving memory the funds for the renovations were given.
November 22: Stewardship In-Gathering Sunday at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. services
This is our annual celebration of our community and God’s abundance among us. During the services, members are invited to take a moment to reflect on all their blessings and to fill out a pledge card and intentionally place it before the altar as their offering to God. After the 10 a.m. service, a special coffee will be held in thanksgiving for all the many ways our members give of their time, talent, and treasure to the mission of St. Peter’s!
