Sunday is our All Parish Meeting: We will continue our tradition of having an all parish meeting immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service on Sunday. At this meeting we will give everyone an update on the process with St. Philip’s and get your feedback about this potential partnership. We will also discuss briefly other matters of our common life and ministry such as: staff, property, and finances. Please join us for this special gathering.
Adult Forum: This Sunday, Adult Forum will meet at 9:00 in the Library with no scheduled agenda or guest speaker. We plan an open discussion of what has gone well, what has been less successful and what we’d like to hear more about. Please join us and bring your opinions – we’d love to hear them.
Women’s Group Dinner: This Friday, 6:00 pm at the church. Please email Polly Sanford email@example.com. We will have a shared potluck dinner with laughs and sharing and begin the planning of our retreat weekend. Hope to see you there!
Face of Poverty Series: In this season of thanksgiving and blessings, we remember those among us who are so much less fortunate. Please consider attending the final meeting on Sunday, January 31st from 5:00-6:30 in the Parish Hall. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Lectionary Bible Study: There will be no Bible Study on Sunday due to the All Parish meeting.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Talent Show: It is coming up before you know it! We will be holding our annual Shrove Tuesday celebrations on February 9th at 6:00 pm. If you would like to participate in the talent show you will need to sign up in advance and participate in the rehearsal on Sunday, February 7. Tickets will be on sale for the event with all proceeds benefiting our youth education programs. All ages, talents, and acts are welcome, please sign up on the sheet in the hallway.
Sky Zone Has Been Rescheduled: If you want to have an amazing time with amazing people from church join us at Sky zone Indoor Trampoline Park on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Sky zone is located at 45A Runway Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Arrival time is 3:30 pm and our jump time is 4:00 pm. All jumpers must complete an online waiver prior to arrival! I MUST have first and last name of all jumpers by Friday, February 12th NO LATER! Just send me a quick email with # people coming (for pizza even if not jumping) and then I need the first and last name of ALL jumpers! Hope to see you all there! Women’s Group News: Please consider joining some of the wonderful women of St. Peter’s on their annual retreat, April 1 – 3rd. It is a joyful way to make new friends and get to know each other! Winter Weather Update: If the forecasters are correct, we may be in for a snowstorm this weekend. Please note our communication procedure for inclement weather:
- An email will be sent out about the potential cancellation of worship services and all other church related activities for that day.
- There will be an announcement on the office phone voicemail, the website and Facebook page.
Loaves and Fishes Food Cupboard: Is looking for volunteers to pick up grocery items from Target in Abington on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week at 8:00 a.m. It only takes about 30 minutes of time and deliver to Loaves and Fishes in Jenkintown on Summit Avenue. 8:00 a.m. service: While Emily continues to recover from her surgery the 8 o’clock service on Sundays will not be held. Thank you for your understanding.
