St. Peter’s Weekly News
June 1, 2016
Welcome St. Philip’s: St. Peter’s extends a special welcome to you and pray that you will find a warm home here. The Email News is a weekly email that is sent with announcements of upcoming parish events. These announcements will also be in the Sunday leaflet. Our homebound members receive a copy of the Sunday leaflet so they may stay up to date on church wide events. Information is also communicated through a bi-monthly newsletter that is sent via email and mailed to our members who are homebound or who do not have access to a computer. Feel free to contact me with any questions, Patty McDonough, Parish Administrator, 215.887.1765.
Parish Picnic and Outdoor Service: THIS SUNDAY is our annual outdoor service and picnic. We’ll meet for worship under the trees at 10 a.m. in Ft. Washington State Park in Flourtown. What you need to know: we provide the hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers, rolls, and beverages. You bring side dishes, salads, snacks and desserts; also your softball glove or favorite outdoor game to share. The park provides picnic tables; you might want to bring your favorite outdoor chairs or blankets to sit on. This is a fun day for the whole family to share. Feel free to invite friends, too.
If you cannot join us at the parish picnic and outdoor service at Ft. Washington State Park, there will be a Morning Prayer service held in the church at 10 a.m.
In case of rain on Sunday morning, we will have the Eucharist service at the church and a fun, indoor picnic in the parish hall afterwards.
