Special Opportunities for Worship and Fellowship in Advent

Advent Wreath Making: Sunday, November 27 at 11:30 a.m.

All ages are invited to make an Advent Wreath for your home during fellowship time.  All supplies will be provided.

Evening Prayer: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5:15 p.m.

This service will take place in the chapel. Come join Emily and your fellow parishioners for this 25 minute service of prayer, Scripture reading, and quiet contemplation.

Advent Lessons and Carols Service: Sunday, December 4 at 10 a.m.

This service is based on one that has been sung annually since 1918 at King’s College Chapel in Cambridge, England. Through music and Scripture readings, the service explores the meaning of the season: the longing for the Messiah and the realization of that hope found in the Incarnation of Christ.

Women’s Christmas Dinner: Friday, December 9 at 6 p.m.

This is our women’s group annual Christmas event where we share in a delicious catered meal and enjoy together a fun gift exchange. Come and make some friends and have some laughs!

St. Nicholas Celebration: Sunday, December 11 at 10 a.m.

This is a special Children’s service in which we will celebrate St. Nicholas’ Feast Day.

Advent Open House: Sunday, December 11 at 11:30 a.m.

Please join Emily, Daniel and Maggie at the Rectory immediately following the 10 a.m. service for a time of food and fellowship.

Blue Christmas Service: Sunday, December 18 at 7 p.m.

This is a quiet, contemplative candlelight service of prayers, Scripture and music.  It allows the opportunity to be in God’s presence for those of us who mourn, or who simply feel a need to await the coming of the Christ Child in contemplation and solemnity.  Please join us in this service of quiet reflection, remembrance, comfort and hope.
