Caring

“Whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple—truly I tell you, none of these will lose their reward.” Matthew 10:42

Care for those among our own community is a ministry we value at St. Peter’s. Whether it is taking holy communion to a homebound parishioner, praying for someone through our prayer chain or at our Wednesday Healing service, taking a home-cooked meal to a fellow parishioner in need, we reach out in compassion to our sisters and brothers as a sign of Christ’s love for them.

We believe that this kind of care extends also to our ministry of fellowship. We like to have fun at St. Peter’s and share our joy of being a community with all who enter our doors. Rarely a week passes by at St. Peter’s where we’re not having some event for members of our parish and friends to come together and enjoy food, fun and fellowship.
