St. Peter’s Pumpkin Patch is a month-long friend- and fund-raising activity that takes place during the month of October. The church’s front lawn is turned into a pumpkin patch full of pumpkins and gourds for sale. The Patch Committee organizes the Kid’s Fall Fest and other activities at the pumpkin patch, coordinates the delivery of pumpkins and enlists many volunteers to decorate the patch, unload pumpkins, greet customers and sell pumpkins.
We welcome lots of volunteers eager to help with a fun outreach and fundraising event, including: decorating, accounting, planning kid’s activities, marketing, fundraising, and advertising.
Beginning in the spring, the Committee meets monthly until the patch opens October 1st. Volunteers come during October for as many or as few hours as they wish to give.
