St. Peter’s Thrift & Gift Shop is open to the community and provides women’s and children’s clothing, jewelry, household goods, and gift items. Volunteers staff the shop from September through mid-June (Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and from mid-June through August (Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
Shop items come from donations or consignments. Information about how the shop operates and how you can make some money is available at the shop. Please stop in.
All profits of the shop are distributed twice a year by the T&G Board of Directors. All distributions go to non-profits, usually local, who support the larger community.
Our volunteers love interacting with the public and commit to being at the shop when assigned (or arrange a replacement). Besides a pleasant manner, it helps if you know how to use a calculator, have good handwriting, and appreciate the charm of gently used items. Volunteers serve on a rotating basis.
