Exciting Events for the Upcoming Program Year

Here are some highlights of the events we have scheduled for the upcoming 2024-2025 program year.

Staturday, October 5 - Singing the African American Spirituals with Integrity

St. Peter’s will host Singing the African American Spirituals with Integrity, a workshop of song and liturgy offered by the Diocesan Anti-Racism Commission. Click HERE for full details.

Pet Blessings for the Whole Community Oct. 6

Our annual celebration of the Feast of St. Francis and pet blessing will be Sunday Oct. 6. Rev. Barb will bless pets, pictures of pets and even stuffed animals during the 10 am liturgy that day. After the service, bring your pets to fellowship on the front lawn, where Rev. Barb will bless the pets of community members who stop by. Invite your friends!

Vaccine Clinic Saturday, October 26

St. Peter's will conduct its annual vaccine clinic on Saturday, Oct. 26 in the library, concurrent with our annual Rummage Sale. Participants will be able to get flu and COVID-19 vaccines. Time and registration details to come.

 

Rooted Tree and St. Peter's Trunk or Treat Oct. 27 from 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

Join St. Peter's church and Rooted Tree Productions for a fun-filled Trunk or Treat event on October 27 from 3 p.m.-6 p.m.  Enjoy a dance party, parade, and lots of candy.  Tickets are just $5 per person, with free admission for kids under 3.  Pay at the door.  It'll be a great time for the whole family!

 

Episcopal 101 Classes on Zoom beginning Wednesday, Oct. 30

Are you new to Episcopal worship and want to learn more about the church? Are you a long-time member with some basic questions? Rev. Barb will offer a four-part Episcopal 101 class Wednesday nights on Zoom at 7 p.m. from Oct 30 to Nov. 20. The sessions will cover Episcopal church structure, common prayer, baptismal promises and faith in action.  Click HERE for more information.
